Rin was born to Hagane Miyuko. Her father was unknown, and she grew up very poor but very loved. She was very smart though, and was accepted into the Ninja academy. Rin was never allowed to feel bad about her position in life, instead she was urged to just do her best. She worked very hard, studying and practicing every night. Even when things didn't come easy to her, she worked hard to get past it. Given her natural intelligence, she was very good by the time she graduated,

Rin graduated the academy at the Age of Nine, shortly after that her mother died from a long standing illness that was untreatable. She was assigned to the team yellow flash! She adored her teacher and (when they weren't arguing) her teammates too. She became a chuunin at the age of eleven and fought in the war with them. All the vents of Kakashi Gaiden happened, which lead to the disbanding of her team. After that, Minato became Hokage, Kakashi joined ANBU and she worked more in the hospital.

Rin found herself transported to this world an instant before the demon fox killed her, as Minato was about to sacrifice himself for Konoha. She still wakes up with nightmares of feeling the demon's chakra burning her.
Rin's memory of the fox attack was forgotten for a while, only to be recalled in nightmares. She hid away from this fear by immersing herself in work at the hospital. Finally, she started to take actual missions again. Slowly she remembered the things that happened to her and a phenomena became apparent. When she was having nightmares, her body was also ageing too fast.

She began to see Maito Gai, eventually ending up in a romantic relationship that pulled her out of the depression cause by her strange nightmares. The two lovers were drawn from this world where they spent several months in another world. Once again, Rin was thrown into war, but this time she was older and more sure of her abilities. She did a lot of maturing in this time. Eventually, her and Gai returned to the world, where Rin completed her work on the seal to stabilize her metabolism to prevent the rapid aging her nightmares brought her.

However, just when everything seemed like it would work out happily ever after, Gai left on a mission and has not been seen since. She misses him more than she can ever say, but she is forcing herself to not stop living. Part of that involves the project she is doing for the Uchiha boys and trying to genetically engineer a full blooded child for Sasuke and Itachi. The other part, involves letting herself be honestly happy and go on a date with To-kun, or Obito as he really is.

In the time between loosing Gai and now, she hs grown closer to the remnants of the Uchiha clan. The living remnants instead of just the dead she has spent so muh time with. She vists the Uchiha shrine near every day when she visits Obito's marker -- she doesn't go to the stone, that is a place reserved for Kakashi. She has become officially adopted by the Uchiha clan, who have been more of a family to her than her blood family had ever been.

She has finally found love again in one Namikaze Minato, the younger version of her senei. After a whirlwind courtship, on May 14th, Rin and Minato became engaged barely a weeka fter she became a jounin. She also was a pregnant with the genetic experimentation she had done on Uchiha, carrying the son of Itachi and Sasuke. So many secrets, but for now, the girl is happy
